The B-Movie Kings are:

Ted Gauthier
 Vocals & Saxophone
Ted Gauthier - Vocals & Saxophone As our lead singer, Ted's main equipment is his robust diaphragm, which allows him to belt out both rockers and ballads with considerable style and range. Ted also plays a 1954 Selmer tenor saxophone for those yakkity sax leads and a Yamaha EG 112 Stratocaster knock-off through a Crate GFX-30 amp for the few songs he plays rhythm guitar on.
Ted uses a Shure Beta 58A microphone for vocals and an ElectraVoice PL88L microphone for his saxophone. This runs into the Peavey 8 channel PA system using built-in effects.

Ted got an early start, singing his first gospel songs in church starting at age four. At age twelve he started playing the tenor saxophone in the school band, and in high school also joined the fledgling jazz band, earning a college music scholarship to play with a jazz big band.
At the age of 17, Ted started his professional singing career: Starting a rock/pop band in high school and playing at various high school dances and private parties.

Projects:
1979-81: Live Wire: Initial rock&roll/pop band, Top 40, Classic Rock
1982-84: Charade: Top 40, Classic Rock
1987-1990: Sat in with various bands, both on vocals and saxophone
1991-1993: Radio Sunday & The All-Stars: Rhythm&Blues, Memphis Blues, Classic Rock
1994-1996: Shaky City: Classic Alternative Rock
1996-1997: Gizzy's Bike: Classic Alternative Rock, Classic Rock, Rhythm&Blues
1998-present: B-Movie Kings: Classic Rock

Ted has been with the band since early 1998. Since the late 90's he also has sat in with such bands as Cottonwood and The Plain James Band.

Richard Burgan
 Vocals & Bass
Richard Burgan - Vocals & Bass Richard has played in jazz and R&B-influenced groups for over two decades. His soulful vocals are a great asset to the diversity of song styles The B-Movie Kings can perform, and his strong bass playing creates a solid foundation for the band.
In addition to performing with The B-Movie Kings, Richard also writes his own material and hopes in the near future to be able to form an acoustic jazz/blues combo where he can sing his own songs as well as perform interpretations of popular standards.

Richard most frequently plays a custom made Carvin fretless bass but also owns a Fender Precision bass. His performance amp is also a Carvin with a 15" JBL speaker. The only vocal microphone he has ever used is a Shure SM 58 (23 years and counting). Also in his collection Richard has a Fender practice amp, Carvin electric guitar, Kamaka Brothers ukelele, and, up until recently, a Gibson Ripper bass guitar (has anybody seen my Ripper? :^)

Nick Adams
 Rhythm, Lead, Acoustic Guitar
Nick Adams - Guitar, Acoustic
Nick has played in bands since his college years. The first band he formed was called The Jay Birds and played original rock and roll. The band changed names three times; first Ayre, then The Rock Boys, and finally The B-Movie Kings, which stuck.

Nick plays an Ovation acoustic guitar direct lined to the PA and a Gibson Les Paul Custom electric guitar through a 100watt 1962 Marshall Town & Country combo amplifier. Nicks main influences include The Doobie Brothers, and The Cars.

Nick loves playing guitar in a band that is as talented as the Kings.
"I hope the band adds more originals to the show. I know everyone that loves rock and roll music will love the B-Movie Kings."

Marty Dolciamore
 Rhythm, Lead Guitar & Vocals
Marty Dolciamore - Vocals & Guitar Marty's been picking since 1964 with his first guitar, a single pickup Kay, he purchased for about $50. Six bands, twelve guitars and almost 40 years later he's still picking and kicking with the "Kings".
Marty currently plays an Epiphone SGII electric guitar, which goes through a Boss GT3 effects box into a Peavey 130 Solo amp.

Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Marty has called several places home: Scottsdale, Arizona (had a gig there as a singing waiter at a local nightclub), Minneapolis, Minnesota (professional acting debut at the Cricket Theatre), Los Angeles, California (lead guitarist with "Slap & Tickle" and various bit roles in obscure movies) and finally landing in Felton, California where he now resides. Marty is an avid cyclist, both road and dirt, and enjoys doing distance riding.
Influences include The Beatles, Cream, Yardbirds, Dire Straits, and The Eagles.

Marty has been with The B-Movie Kings on and off for almost twelve years and he really enjoys the current incarnation of the group. Marty is also a songwriter and hoping to get some of his tunes going with the band. "We need more original stuff. Not necessarily for the 'rock star' thing but just to hear them. After all, this the most solid band I've ever played with; everyone is a player."
