Marty Dolciamore
Rhythm, Lead Guitar & Vocals
Marty's been picking since 1964 with his first guitar,
a single pickup Kay, he purchased for about $50.
Six bands, twelve guitars and almost 40 years later
he's still picking and kicking with the "Kings".
Marty currently plays an Epiphone SGII electric guitar, which goes through
a Boss GT3 effects box into a Peavey 130 Solo amp.
Born in New York City and raised on Long Island, Marty
has called several places home: Scottsdale, Arizona
(had a gig there as a singing waiter at a local
nightclub), Minneapolis, Minnesota (professional
acting debut at the Cricket Theatre), Los Angeles,
California (lead guitarist with "Slap & Tickle" and
various bit roles in obscure movies) and finally
landing in Felton, California where he now resides.
Marty is an avid cyclist, both road
and dirt, and enjoys doing distance riding.
Influences include The Beatles,
Cream,
Yardbirds,
Dire Straits, and
The Eagles.
Marty has been with The B-Movie Kings on and off for
almost twelve years and he really enjoys the current
incarnation of the group.
Marty is also a songwriter and hoping to get some of
his tunes going with the band.
"We need more original stuff. Not necessarily for the
'rock star' thing but just to hear them. After all,
this the most solid band I've ever played with;
everyone is a player."
